The Memorial ceremony was held at the Hlohovec Town Cemetery on 19^th January 2012, remembering the 6^th Anniversary of the Plane Crash in Hejce (Hungary). Soldiers of the Multipurpose Battalion, representative of the municipality and soldiers families gave honour and respect to deceased officers LTC Jozef BIGAS and MAJ Vladimir SOPUCH. Garrison Commander LTC Adrian MELEGA and Chief of the Ecumenical Pastoral Service COL Jaroslav BALOCKY Ret. highlighted in their speeches the sacrifice these officers for their homeland. Battalion´s chaplain 2LT Jan MAGYAR prayed for the grieving families and gave them the blessing.
